The useful question is how many ppm of free chlorine you want to add. The required product amount then depends on pool gallons and the percentage strength of the chlorine product.

Chemistry context still matters

A calculator can estimate dose quantity, but it cannot determine the correct sanitation target without your stabilizer level, current test results and local operating conditions. Retest after dosing and circulation.
